A local media organisation has published that Newquay Harbour has banned visitors. This is NOT true, and could have a detrimental effect on our friends based there who rely on visitors to earn a livelihood.
The North Quay HAS been closed to the public due to safety concerns and harbour jumping is being discouraged.
However, the rest of the Harbour IS open to visitors. In fact, you are very welcome to enjoy everything this Jewel in Newquay’s crown has to offer.
Please spread the word. Many seasonal businesses only get a small window to to earn their living each year, and we would hate for this one irresponsible headline to spoil it for them.
