Welcome to Trethiggey Holiday Park in Newquay. We hope you have a lovely stay here with us. We have put together a few things that may help you while you are in Newquay. If you need any help, please pop into Reception or see a member of staff. You can click here to view the Holiday Park Rules.

We accept arrivals between 10.30 am & 6 pm Monday to Saturday. Sorry no late arrivals after 6 pm. Please call ahead of you are going to be late as Reception will be closed for check-in.

Please ensure you know where your children & teenagers are at all times. You are responsible for your child’s behaviour & action’s & they must be supervised particularly in the play area, games rooms, lakes area & toilets. Parents are reminded that their children/teenagers are expected to return, quietly, back to their own pitch by 10 pm. Quiet time is 10.30 pm

We love seeing your fury family members on holiday & having a fun time. You must you keep your dog on a lead at all times. They are not permitted to be off lead at any time. This is for the safety of your dog & others on the holiday park. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time. Also please ensure you pick up after your fury friend, we don’t like lazy dog owners

The speed limit is 5MPH across the entire Holiday Park. Please do not break the speed limit.

If you are found to be speeding on the holiday park, you will be required to park your vehicle in the lower car park for the duration of your stay. CCTV covers the park 24/7.

There is no vehicle movement allowed, in, out or around the holiday park between 11 pm & 7 am.

We have 2 toilet & shower blocks located at the top & bottom of the holiday park. The facilities are cleaned twice daily, with regular spot checks. Children must be supervised when using the facilities. Dogs are not allowed in the toilet/shower blocks (bottom shower block is only open during high season only July – August)

Customer Fridge & Freezers are available to use for your chilled & frozen food items.

The Laundry is located at the top of the holiday park & is open 24 hours. The washers & dryers take coins & change is available at Reception during open hours. Ironing facilities also available. Dogs are not permitted in this area.

Our quiet time is strictly 10.30 PM to 8 AM. We don’t tolerate, loud & disrespectful behaviour. Please keep radios, TVs etc. at a low volume. Generators are not permitted on-site. Anyone who is loud & or abusive will be removed from the site. Strictly NO VEHICLE MOVEMENT in, out or around the holiday park between 11 pm & 7 am

The Play Park is open from 8 am to 10 pm/dusk. The park is for use by children 12 & under only & under supervision at all times. Bikes, scooters, roller skates, roller blades etc are not allowed in the play area. Please be respectful of the brand new play area & please let a member if staff know if there are any issues. In the evening when its dark bikes & scooters are not permitted to be ridden around the site in case of an accident. Children in the games rooms must be under adult supervision at all times.

You are permitted to park 1 car on your pitch. Additional cars booked in party must park in the designated parking bays around the site. Please don’t park on the grass after heavy rain fall, please park in one of the parking areas around the holiday park. We also strongly recommend you bring a torch with you when you are camping! The campsite is very dimly lit in the evenings.

On site we have 3 main bin areas which are for General Household Rubbish, Recycling & Glass Recycling. We ask that you recycle as much as possible & use the correct bins for the correct rubbish. Please don’t leave BBQ’s, camping equipment, body boards, tents & awnings or camping chairs in the bin area. You can use the local recycling centre TR7 3BW for such items. It costs more money to empty the bins when people put the incorrect rubbish in them & soon this may cause a price increase across the park. Please help us keep the costs down!

The Lakes area are for everyone to enjoy but due to safety issues children are NOT allowed at the lakes are unless accompanied by an adult. Any children found in this area unaccompanied will be reported to the management. CCTV covers this area & anyone causing damage will be banned from the holiday park. NO Swimming in the lakes!

DON’T BURN THR GRASS! BBQs are allowed but please keep them off the grass. There are BBQ blocks located at the top & bottom of the site which you can use to lift your BBQs off the grass. Please allow your BBQ to cool to cold before disposing of the coals etc. in the bin. Open fires are not allowed on site.

The Wi-Fi available onsite is provided by Club Wi-Fi. Just connect to the network & follow the online instructions to purchase your Wi-Fi Pass. If you have any issues, you can contact Club Wi-Fi by phone or email. Staff at Trethiggey are not responsible for the Wi-Fi, if you have any issues please contact Club Wi-Fi direct.

The local Spar Shop & Post Office is just along the road (approx. 10 min walk). Head out of the campsite & turn right, the Spar is located next door to Hutton Hire at the roundabout.
